Bonneval Sur Arc, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, is one of the "Most beautiful Villages of France" and the only one with this distinction in Savoy. Bonneval is located at the foot of the highest roadway pass in Europe, the Iseran Pass (2770m), and is on theGreat Alps Road linking Thonon to Menton through the great passes of the Alps.

Just go on a walk from the village : even for a brief, half-hour stroll, you are already walking in the footsteps of the most famous guides of the past and the shepherds of today. From the fresh green notes of high pastures to the luminous white accents of snowy peaks, the alpine symphony  will captive you. Carefree trails will lead you to discover the Haute Maurienne and Vanoise regions. And it won't take long for the magic to work. In the Cirque des Evettes or at the Carro refuge, admiring a stemless gentian or resting under a large tree, your will hear the mountain whisper its secrets and see magnificence everywhere.

Ask for the program of activities or plan your own : mountain biking, canyoneering, via ferrata, stream fishing, mountaineering, climbing, glacier hiking, archery, mini golf, rifle shooting, tennis : everything is possible, close by and near to the heart.

Hike as you like : short walks on flat terrain that are possible with a baby stroller, hilkes ranging from a half day, full day or even many days, with overnight stays in mountain huts.

There are music festivals, bonfires on St John's Day, July 14th celebrations, craft markets, the Terre de Montagne Festival, the AstronomyFestival and many, many others open to all.
