Book
Description
Canyoning involves descending a river without any special equipment (just a neoprene wetsuit, harness and helmet). You can jump into pools, slide over rocks, abseil down waterfalls, swim in clear water and discover magical places in complete safety.
The Écot canyon is the most playful in the Maurienne valley. This descent is packed with jumps (optional) and slides that follow each other without a break to give you the maximum adrenaline rush. Abseiling is not necessary. This unique canyon with very cold water is carved out of magnificent granite. It starts from the hamlet of l'Écot at an altitude of 2000m, near Bonneval sur Arc, making it a spectacular setting for a half-day of exploration and fun in the heart of nature.
