Climbing School
Discover rock climbing with the Bessans Bonneval Terre d’Alpinisme UNESCO association. Introductory courses for ages 8 and up, or advanced training led by Yannick Anselmet, a high-mountain guide.
Description
Yannik Anselmet, a high-mountain guide and member of the Bessans Bonneval Terre d’Alpinisme UNESCO association, invites you to discover or improve your rock climbing skills in a natural setting at the Drailles Blanches site between Bessans and Bonneval-sur-Arc (Via Ferrata parking lot). Climbing is multifaceted and isn’t limited to colorful holds in a gym or the Olympic Games. Yannik will share with you a different perspective on climbing in a natural setting.
“All children climb for the sheer joy of climbing—for the joy of discovery, of seeing farther and higher. When the joy of camaraderie within the climbing party is added to these two pleasures, that is mountaineering! ” Gaston Rebuffat
