Mini Hike Around Carro

A short hike around Le Carro to explore the peaks of the Alpes Grées and the flora and fauna of the Vanoise National Park: Col des Reys, Refuge du Carro, Col du Carro, led by Levanna Aventure.

Description

Day 1: Pont de l'Ouillettaz (2,473 m) – Col des Reys (2,932 m) - Refuge du Carro (2,759 m): a panoramic, off-trail traverse to reach Savoie’s highest refuge.
Day 2: Refuge du Carro (2,759 m) - Col des Pariotes (3,034 m) - l’Ecot (2,022 m): Return to the unspoiled hamlet of l’Ecot via a high, wild pass.
