The Pierre Fendue parking lot is used in both winter and summer:

In winter, it serves as a parking area for skiers using the Vallonnet chairlift.
In summer, it serves as both a free parking lot (for visitors, hikers, etc.) and a toll booth for the road leading up to the hamlet of L’Écot. The Pierre Fendue parking lot is at the starting point of the road to L’Écot (3.5 km). It is also a stop for the village shuttle and the shuttle to L’Écot.
