In this village at the "end of the world", nestled at the end of the Haute Maurienne valley, at the foot of the Col de l'Iseran, life is not like anywhere else. The inhabitants of Bonneval-sur-Arc have always had to adapt to the high altitude, snowy winters and short summers. Their way of life, their typical high mountain habitat can be discovered through the narrow streets of the village and the hamlet of l'Ecot.
