At an altitude of 2,000 meters, the listed hamlet of l'Écot reveals all the mountain authenticity and unspoiled charm of yesteryear. Following in the footsteps of the film Belle et Sébastien, the route takes you to the heart of Haute Maurienne Vanoise.

Between glistening icefalls, winter-frozen torrents and rocky landscapes, this walk offers a unique immersion in a pristine and inspiring mountain heritage.

1/ From the Tourist Office, go to the snow front, then follow the groomed Route de l'Écot trail towards Oratoire Saint-Landry. Be careful when crossing the trail.
2/ 0 h 45 - At the Oratoire, continue straight ahead on the same groomed track as far as Pont Saint-Clair. Take time to visit the hamlet of l'Écot, then return to Pont Saint-Clair.
3/ 1 h 20 - From this crossroads, turn around and take the same route back down to the Tourist Office.
3/ 2 h 45 - Bonneval-sur-Arc Tourist Office.
