A spectacular and friendly event between Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc. L'Aventure Givrée is an opportunity to learn ice climbing. Demonstrations, presentation of different techniques, entertainment and a festive evening open to all.

Upcoming ice climbing sessions in Bonneval sur Arc Bessans
The Aventure Givrée is a unique opportunity to discover the sport or hone your skills.

Three levels to choose from: Beginner, Intermediate, or Dry Experience.

- Initiation: for people wishing to progress in snow and ice mountaineering and perfect their skills.

- Progression: for those wishing to perfect their snow and ice mountaineering skills and gain competence in the activity.

- Dry Experience: for those wishing to learn Dry Tooling and confirm their ice climbing skills.

3 sites:
- Barmette rock: ice-clad cliff at the Biathlon site.
- Vallon de l'Ecot: natural waterfalls, snow corridors, canyon
- Vallon du Ribon: natural waterfalls, snow corridor

Come and discover ice climbing (climbing on ice mushrooms with crampons and ice axes) supervised by a mountain guide at the Barmette cliff. Equipment provided. All you need is mountaineering boots (available for rent from sports stores).
Times are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Required equipment: stiff mountaineering boots suitable for crampons, gloves, clothing appropriate for the temperature and activity, backpack with snacks and drinks (water and a thermos are recommended).

Warning: weather conditions can be very cold. It is essential to have the right clothing for the conditions.
