Description
This eclectic exhibition showcases the work of professional and emerging artists from all over France, as well as from Bonneval-sur-Arc and Bessans.
Isis OLIVIER, who has lived in the Cévennes since 1995, is artist-in-residence at the Wildlife Hospital run by the Goupil connexion association. She draws animals live, without using a camera, to better capture their spirit. Through her work, she seeks to reveal the beauty and fragility of wildlife.
She is one of the four women in the film "Animus Femina" by Éliane de Latour (released in cinemas in January 2026).
Sarah Guiheux, photographer and naturalist, two linked passions. One offers discoveries, the other immortalizes them.
A lifelong fascination with biodiversity and a passion for ornithology, she naturally turned to photography to capture precious moments. These moments of connection with nature are shared with you.
Over the last 10 years, becoming a Nature Guide has been an extremely meaningful experience for her, as she has been able to complement her skills in observation and species recognition.
This, combined with her love of bird conservation, has resulted in the photos she takes today.
For her, photography is also a means of raising awareness. Every species needs a rich living environment, and every species needs to be seen and known in order to be protected.
Olivier Trompette
Having frequented the Haute Maurienne valley as a holidaymaker since my earliest childhood, I settled in Bessans in the early 2000s to pursue my career as a mountain guide. Passionate about nature, and wildlife in particular, I create photo and video presentations to share my daily life in the valley with the public and showcase its natural beauty. Over the years, wildlife photography has become increasingly important, with numerous outings and workshops for photographers in the largest protected area in Western Europe, comprised of the Vanoise and Gran Paradiso National Parks (Italy).
