A spectacular and friendly event between Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc. L'Aventure Givrée is an opportunity to learn ice climbing. Demonstrations, presentation of different techniques, entertainment and a festive evening open to all.

Last ice meetings in Bonneval sur Arc and Bessans
The Aventure Givrée is an exceptional opportunity to discover the activity or perfect your technique.

Three levels to choose from: Initiation, Progression or Dry Experience.

- Initiation: for people wishing to progress in snow and ice mountaineering and perfect their skills.

- Progression: for those wishing to perfect their snow and ice mountaineering skills and gain in competence in the activity.

- Dry Experience: for those wishing to learn Dry Tooling and confirm their ice climbing skills.

3 sites:
- Barmettes cliff: ice-clad cliff at the Biathlon site.
- Vallon de l'Ecot: natural waterfalls, snow corridors, canyon
- Vallon du Ribon: natural waterfalls, snow couloir

Come and discover ice climbing (climbing on ice mushrooms with crampons and ice axes) supervised by a mountain guide at the Barmette cliff. Equipment provided. All you need is mountaineering boots (available for hire from sports stores).
Times are from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00.

Equipment required: rigid cramponable mountaineering boots, gloves, clothing suited to the temperature and the activity, rucksack with refreshments (water, thermos recommended).

Warning: weather conditions can be very cold. It's essential to have the right clothing for the conditions.
