This accessible itinerary (150m+), with the appearance of being at the end of the world and with easy slopes, allows you to get close to the fabulous blue ice of the glacier's terminal tongue, in a wild and magical high mountain atmosphere. On arrival, you may be able to observe an incredible ice cave!

The hamlet of l’Ecot, perched at an altitude of 2030 m, becomes a true haven of calm and history in winter. A hamlet that is only accessible by snowshoe from the sublime village of Bonneval sur Arc. After passing through the heart of a forest of aspens and birches, then a stony area known as « les éboulis de Faudan », the small houses of the hamlet appear. The stone, wood and lauze dwellings have retained their traditional charm.
